Transportation links are pretty much the lifelines of the city. They offer interesting glimpses of the picturesque & the not-so-picturesque landscapes, man made and natural. Some that made you think, some that just amaze. Here are some glimpses of a recent commute to Park Town by road and rail:
Catching a break between trains, literally: A photograph of the station maintenance staff at the MRTS station. Deadly but fascinating place to be in I guess!
Its lonely at the top…: Chepauk palace seen amidst tree tops
Napier’s bridge, electric lines & the in-between..: Truly, Chennai is beautiful! If only those waterways were accessible as of old…!

The first shot caught my eye, I would of liked if the train was sharp but thats unnavoidable sometimes.
Apart from that, well framed and the subjects are good!

Thanks Kevin!
Incidentally, I did have a shot with a static train, but just felt that the blur reflected the noise and activity that makes stations such interesting places
I see what you are doing now. I like that you are putting a lot of thought into your photos.
